TRANSOM is a data warehouse

Mountain Measurement's database experts designed a data warehouse optimized for the retrieval, storage, analysis and reporting of test results data. Regardless of where you deliver your tests, TRANSOM will pick up ALL of the item level data in the results stream and load them into a secure data warehouse. From there, the data are cleaned and transformed into pristine bits of information ready for use.

TRANSOM is an automated analysis machine

The analytic engine in TRANSOM conducts the latest and greatest in psychometric and business intelligence anaylses to give your stakeholders the information they need. Psychometric analytics include classical test theory and item response theory (IRT). For educators, regulators and candidates, worldwide norms are calculated as well.

TRANSOM has interactive, colorful reports

Each user has access to a set of reports that were designed just for them. The visualizations are rendered in full color and include GIS maps, bar charts, latticed histograms and more. Each allow users to interact with the data by mousing over certain visual elements (such as a bar in a chart), drilling into the underlying data, and sorting or filtering the data.

There are five different sets of reports:

  • Candidate reports - The Candidate report is an 18 page PDF report that harkens to a post-game analysis. It includes a summary of the test blueprint, content area scores, normative performance, and response time information. Each page includes a table or chart depicting the information in visual form.

  • Test Sponsor reports - There are four different workbooks in the test sponsor reports which include: Import Summary, Results Flags, Program Summary, and Psychometric Summary.
